Tok Transit Limited is a transit company contracted to operate York Region Transit in Newmarket (North Division) and is offering career opportunities in the following positions:

Current Opportunities

Transit Operators

- Must possess a valid BZ Licence
- Minimum 3 yrs experience in transit

Mechanics

- Truck & Coach Technician (310-T) Certificate preferred
- Ability to perform inspections, troubleshoot, scheduled preventative maintenance, repairs & transmission problems

Inspector

- Monitor transit lines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Investigate and assess customer concerns
- Investigate and report or accidents/incidents
- Min. 3 yrs experience

Dispatchers

- Assign transit buses
- Ensure operators are appropriately equipped
- Trapese experience a must
- Monitor availability of buses
- Daily scheduling

Control Centre Co-ordinators

- Init CAD/AVL experience an asset
- Monitor routes via Init system
- Dispatch emergency personnel
- Communicate with and assist operators as required
- Perform service adjustments
- Maintain schedule adherence
- Min. 3 yrs experience in transit
